Расстояние между двумя параллельными прямыми, касательными к линии пересечения конической поверхности с плоскостью, перпендикулярной к оси конуса.
Примечание
В зависимости от осевого положения секущей плоскости различают:
диаметр D большого основания конуса;
диаметр d малого основания конуса;
диаметр Ds в заданном поперечном сечении - сечении, имеющем заданное осевое положение Ls;
диаметр dx в поперечном сечении с произвольным осевым положением Lx.
1 - малое основание; 2 - заданное поперечное сечение; 3 - большое основание.
